Grassroots

Grassroots furthers the goals of social justice through its participation in the political process. Members meet once a week for high-quality, in-depth discussions on relevant news items. Members then utilize the knowledge they gain at these meetings to advocate effectively for social change. ULAP Grassroots engages in advocacy through leading awareness campaigns, hosting campus-wide discussion forums and exhibits, collaborating with professors, and meeting with elected officials directly.

Ultimately, our goal is to empower students to explore different areas of human rights and discover what you are passionate about.
