The Film Production Department uses film to educate, discover, and spread awareness to different human rights issues and their status here in Berkeley. Film Productions not only offers the chance to understand and document issues here in the Berkeley community, but a chance to get to know the students and faculty on our very own campus.

This semester, we will discuss a variety of human rights topics and their position here in Berkeley. Once we collaboratively choose a topic that interests the Film Productions department, we will coordinate times in the semester to interview students, administration, and organizations that also work towards social justice. We will work together to create a storyboard, produce, and edit the film. At the end of the semester, we will share it to the class and other various social media to display our work.
